Mitotic Spindle Conference: From living and synthetic systems to theory, Dubrovnik, April 16-19. 2023.
A spindle is a miniature machine that separates chromosomes during cell division and is a key research focus for leading scientific groups worldwide. Thanks to Prof. Nenad Pavin from the Faculty of Science at the University of Zagreb and Prof. Iva Tolić from the Ruđer Bošković Institute, top scientists from around the world gathered once again for the third edition of the international conference “Mitotic Spindle: From Living and Synthetic Systems to Theory.” This year, the organizers selected Dubrovnik as the host city, and the meeting took place from April 16 to 19, 2023. The event featured 16 invited lectures, 20 thematic lectures, and 36 poster presentations. The attractive topics, new research results, and dynamic exchange of ideas among leading scientists in the field attracted over 85 registered participants.
